Team Start Date: 12/2/23
Holiday Race Camp: 12/27/23 - 12/30/23
YSL (U8-U12 athletes) season end date: 3/10/24*
South Series (U12-U14 athletes) season end date: 3/24/24*
IMD U14/U16 season end date: 4/9/24*
*All season end dates reflect the date of the last race in which an athlete of that age group could participate. If an athlete is not participating in that race, their end date will be earlier and will be clarified as we approach the end of the season. Coaches
Brighton Ski Team is always on the lookout for certified coaches looking to teach and coach young athletes the art of racing. If you are interested in joining the Brighton Ski Team as a coach, please reach out to the team director, Drew Southworth - brightonskiteam@hotmail.com
Racing
Throughout the ski season, team members are continually challenged through numerous opportunities to compete in a variety of venues. Each race affords competitors the ability to demonstrate the skills that they will have learned throughout the season.
training
During the on-snow portion of the season, team members train one to five times each week, depending on their age, with experienced and certified coaches.

Our Mountain
Brighton Ski Resort is located at the end of Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, and Brighton Ski Team calls this beautiful resort “home”. The Brighton Ski Team is a ski racing team. Since 1994, young athletes have trained at Brighton up to four days a week with their coaches, and many team members come up in their free time to enjoy the mountain and a day of free-skiing.
The Brighton Ski Team would not be able to function as a team, have athletes compete in races or host races without the help of our many sponsors. We are extremely appreciative of our sponsors and they are secure in knowing that they are supporting first class athletes and future Olympians.
