Drew Southworth - Program Director & U16 Coach
Drew’s passion of skiing started back 34 years ago on hills of Vermont. He grew up racing and then later coaching for Killington Mountain School. This will be his 16th year of coaching, 10th with the Brighton Ski Team and 6th year as the team Program Director. Drew is a level 100 certified USSA Coach. This year Drew will be the Program Director and will coach the U16 athletes, where his main focus will be to develop and maintain technique and structure in each racer. During the winter if you can’t find him making turns at Brighton, you can usually locate Drew hiking around and skiing in the backcountry, looking for those fresh powder lines. Aside from ski racing, he also loves mountain biking and being in the outdoors.
